It's very difficult to get the spouse visa at the same time with the
student. Generally, what people do is to get the student visa first and then
sponsor his/her spouse to go to Canada to "visit", on a visitor's visa.
The proof of financial ability will be required.

∶ Thank Maplebridge. Is there any success example that go together?
∶ Will bank certificate make it easier?
∶ Is there a saying of immigration tendency like in US visa applying?

According to immigration act, it's possible for a family to get
visas in the same time. However,the policy in Beijing is very strict.
I haven't had any case like that from Beijing. And I haven't heard
of any successful case as such. I had a case from other country that
the applicant and his wife came to Canada in the same time.
Bank certificate could be of help. The most important thing is your
monthly income, you should have about CA$19,000 income after paying
tuition fee, annually, in order to get visas for the whole family.
If you are refused, most likely you'll be refused by the reason of
immigration intention, which is the routine reply from the Embassy.
However, the real thing they concerned is that if you can get enough
money to support yourself.
