The Canadian government currently charges CA $500  application fee and CA $975
right of landing fee for each adult applying for PR under the independent
catagary. You will wait for quite a long time if you cannot travel to other
country for the interview. To say, in Beijing, you are expecting the waiting
time of about 2 years.
