     This is a difficult question. The minimum living expense for the couple
will be printed on the I-20 for spouse. The money your husband have(
including his stipen and the personal funding) must be more than the
minimum requirement. That is enough.
     However, USA embassy does not treat Chinese people equally. Sometimes
they require something you do not know if you do not want you to get the
visa.
∶ 4. 如果自己或对方在银行里另外有存款，可以用来担保吗？如果可以，应该存进
∶    中国的银行还是美国的银行？应该存多少合适？签证官会询问钱的来路吗？
∶    因为，我可以借到一大笔钱以对方的名义存入美国银行。

     Of course. This is your  personal funding. You had better deposit it
into an American bank.

5. 听说，现在签证要审查对方在美国的近一段时间的流水帐单，为什么呢？签证
∶    官能从中得到什么信息呢？要看多久的？3个月？6个月？如果我借到的一大笔
∶    （或者足够的）钱在签证前一次存入对方的户头，会不会被怀疑其来源？还是
∶    我得拉开了在几个月的时间一点一点存进去？

     If you were in USA, you knew this question clearly.

     IN the moring you borrow money from your friend ( inchek) and deposit
it into your account. You ask the bank to give you the certificate of
account balance( which will used to apply a new I-20 for the spouse).In the
afternoon you may return the money to your friend.

    The statement of your account will record every transaction. That's
the reason.



∶ 6. 最后再问一个具体的问题。他是今年夏天走的，走前我们没顾得上结婚。他的
∶    I-20上写的是去读Master，期限3年，也就是到2000年。如果为了我明年可以
∶    去申请F-2，他有没有必要在今年的圣诞节期间回国一趟，和我办结婚。还是
∶    等明年暑假再回来就来得及了？要是必须尽快回来的话，他就得马上去定机票
∶    了。
