Having reading so many precious suggestions about the pursuit for higher
education (Especially MS Degree) in US, I have finally recognized that :

o  GRE/TOEFL score
o  3 Recommendation Letters
o  GPA, academic performance within 4 years of college life
o  Research or working experience
o  Statement of Purpose (SOP)

   are the main factors taking into consideration. My observation is that
among these factors, we may offset some (that we did better) against other
(which we did worse) while applying for several schools. For example, If
my academic performance (GPA) is not good enough, nor did I have any
research experience before, I can still improve myself on the GRE/TOEFL
score, recommendation letters and SOP, to offset my lack of the former.

    Please correct me if I am wrong... sometimes I am confused about the
given example, does it really make sense?
