Application Time-Line

The following Time-Line assumes that you plan to submit your application
for a January 1, 1996 admissions deadline. You will need to adjust the time
line backwards and forwards depending on your preferred admissions
deadline. Most experts claim that your chances for admissions are greatest
during the January and February deadlines, yet hard data regarding such a
claim is not available.

general steps that one must undertake in completing an application.

August Time Line

1) Select Schools To Which You Want To Apply

Because of the time involved in crafting an integrated application we
suggest that you apply to a small group of schools. To chose among the
multitude of programs, first decide on those aspects of a graduate program
that you think are most important (the placement record, an expertise in a
certain discipline, a method of teaching, etc.). T
