I still feel it is impossible, but if you have a friend , let him ask
this for you . Of course, I do not think you have a US driver's liscence .
You can not send your passport to US, right? Oh, as I remember, when i
came here last year, before I got my formal SSN, I could open a saving's
account here with my temporary "Number" and passport and I-20, but notice
I could not have a checking account though, the teller told me so... I think
that is why someone said he knew a guy who 担保 for himself in China by
depositing some money in US, but notice you can do that if you have
a saving account, I believe you can not get checking account though.

But it does not hurt let your friend ask it for you.
