CWRU物理系用Email寄来预表,预表是无须认真对付的东西,(以后会讨论它),不过
以下是如何在预表阶段就试探申请费能否免的例子. Comment中那些话也可以在
普通要表信中用,不过一般要表信看的人只看地址就发材料了,预表里你说的话
倒是有可能有人看一看. (不过虽然这学校爽快地免了申请肥我也没申请它,呵呵)

been our experience that masters programs usually involve

Dear Sir/Madam:
  I wish to state for three things. First, I entered the Special Class
for Gifted Children of Huazhong Univ. of Science and Technology (HUST)
when I was 15 years old. I finished the four-year undergraduate program
in three years and achieved my degree of B. Eng. (Optoelectronic
Engineering) in June 1996 with the honor of "Outstanding Graduate".
Since I finish the undergraduate program in three years, I cannot fill
out the five-year GPA in the form, I hope you can make an exception.
  Next, I am now a graduate student majoring in Condensed Matter Physics,
but my undergraduate major is not in Physics, thus my years of instruction
in Physics in English is not very long. Yet I have learned by myself all
the basic knowledges and many advanced knowledges in Physics.
  At last, since I am still very young, I cannot work and don't have any
amount of funds in dollars available. Also, my parents are poor workers
and cannot arrange for me any fees. I wonder whether you can provide
financial supports, and, if possible, waive my application fees. Thank
you very much for your kind assistance. Please contact me if further
information about me is required.
