Title:     Immigration Guide: Final decision

After an application and all dependants have satisfied the immigration
criteria, a visa will be issued that is normally valid one year from the
date of the first medical examination. If an applicant or a dependant fails
to satisfy any of the immigration criteria, the applicant and the sponsor
will be informed of the reasons why the application was refused.
