RA-SHIP AVAILABLE IN EECS OF UNIV. OF MICHIGAN

1-2 RA-ships are available in EECS department at Univ. of Michigan. Our
EECS ranks 5th in U.S.A. Applicants should meet with the following
requirements:

1. have a B.S or M.S degreee of EE or CE from a high-reputated
university

2. GPA above 3.5 of both undergraduate and graduate courses

3. computer engineering background

4. experience in hardware design, VLSI design

5. experience of at least one EDA tool and UNIX

GRE and TOEFL are requred by Rackham Graduate School of Univ. of
Michigan and EECS department. Your TOEFL should be above 620 according
to the requirement of Rackham Graduate School. Industry experience is
preferred but not required.

If you are interested in application of RA-ship and meet with the above
requirements, please send your ASCII file of RESUME, PERSONAL STATEMENT
and transcript to daisyyu@hotmail.com. After previewing your application
materials you will be contacted by email personally. You're strongly
encouraged to prepare a Postscript file of your application materials
although at this time you are not supposed to submit it. You should also
send your application materials to Rackham Graduate School of Univ. of
Michigan and EECS graduate office before Jan 1. That your application is
denied by us doesn't mean you are denied by EECS department becuase this
is the applicaton for support from only one faculty. You can still
contact other faculty and graduate office at the same time.
