1-2 RA-ships are available in EECS department at Univ. of Michigan. Our
EECS ranks 5th in U.S.A. Applicants should meet with the following
requirements:

1. have a B.S or M.S degreee of EE or CE from a high-reputated university

2. GPA above 3.5 of both undergraduate and graduate courses(if available)

3. computer or electronic engineering background

4. (1)experience in hardware design, VLSI design or

   (2)experinece in CAD for VLSI

If you are interested in application of RA-ship and meet with the above
requirements, please send your ASCII file of RESUME, PERSONAL STATEMENT
and transcript to wolveine_54@hotmail.com.  The transcript should be
exactly the same as it appears on your official transcript.

After previewing your application materials you will be contacted by email
personally. You should also make sure that your application materials reach
Rackham Graduate School of Univ.of Michigan and EECS graduate office before
Jan 15.  Please note this is NOT OFFICIAL recruiting of EECS dept. of Umich.

Due to the delay of my access to Tsinghua BBS, I asked the friend of mine to
post the message on the BBS before(the eamil address is daisyyu@hotmail.com).
I noticed that some students doubt it is true because I use the email address
of HOTMAIL to receive application materials.  You can check that I am from
engin.umich.edu by typing ^A within BBS.

I have received some mails from some students.  Some of them have good
background but few sent me transcript(only electronic copy needed). If you
don't send me transript, I can't evaluate your qualification and just suppose
your GPA is too low to send it to me. So please send complete materials to me
if you are really interested in receiving support. Don't use attachment.
Sometimes it results in problems.
