Postion:  Post-doctor

Place:  Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST),
          Taejon
          (one of the best engineering university in Korea)

Research Area:
A new research project on development of a magnetic bearing system for
an air cycle machine used in airplanes. The machine is very small in
size (less than 1cm in diameter) with high operating speed (about
100,000rpm). There are other interesting projects in the area of rotor
dynamics, too.

Salary:
1,000,000 won (Korean currency, 700$ according the current  currency
rate), standard salary in KAIST. Maybe increase but not ensure. It is
not much but quite enough to live in Taejon.

Period:
Start as soon as possible, stay period is one year in the first
contract.
