RESEARCH FELLOWS IN MOLECULAR BIOLOGY AND DEVELOPMENTAL BIOLOGY OF HEART AND
CARDIOVESCULAR DISEASES ARE AVAILABLE IMMEDIATELY.
We are studing the molecular mechanism of cardiovescular development as well
as the molecular basis of congenital and acquired heart diseases. Another
newly-initiated field is tapping the angiogenesis and tumor metastasis,
emphsizing on how MATRIX METALLOPROTEINASES and their inhibitors are
functioned during these processes. Our model systems used are transgenic
mouse, chick and Xenopus, involving over-expression of dominant-negative
mutants and gene knock-outs. Our researches are supported by NATIONAL
INSTITUTE OF HEALTH (NIH), AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION (AHA) AND ARTHIRIS
FUNDATION.
We are looking for absolutely and positively SELF-MOTIVATED and HARD
-WORKING.
