               Hall of Graduate Studies

               The Hall of Graduate Studies (HGS) houses
               179 students and is near the center of the
               University campus. Assignment priority is
               given to but not limited to students enrolled in
               the Graduate School of Arts & Sciences.

               Helen Hadley Hall

               420 Temple St.

               Hadley Hall is located on the rim of the central
               campus within easy walking distance of the
               Graduate School, Sterling Memorial Library,
               Science Hill, School of Music, and SOM. The
               front desk has full-time office staff to assist
               with student needs.

               254 Prospect Street

               254 Prospect St.

               This is a large, older home that has been
               converted into a dormitory housing 16
               students, most of which have large rooms.

               276 Prospect Street

               276 Prospect St.

               This building, which used to be the Yal
               Infirmary, now houses 34 dormitory rooms of
               various sizes with 10 co-ed bathrooms.

    How to Apply:

    Incoming students    When you accept Yale's offer, the department to which you applied
    will send their incoming packet which will contain the housing brochure.

    Eligibility

    Dormitory residents must be a regularly enrolled graduate student in one of Yale's graduate or
