The Dept. of Communicative Disorders is an ASHA accredited program offering undergraduate and graduate courses of study
in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology. Our goals are to provide effective state-of-the-science instruction in
speech-language-hearing, contribute to the advancement of that knowledge, and serve the community by providing on-campus
services through our clinical facility and off-campus services through a coordinated program of student internship opportunities.

The Master of Science, with or without thesis, is available with a major emphasis in Speech-Language Pathology with
supporting work in Audiology. The program is accredited by the Educational Standards Board of the Boards of Examiners in
Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology. Graduates with the master's degree will meet the academic and practicum
requirements for the Certificate of Clinical Competence of the Board of Examiners in Speech-Language Pathology and
Audiology. This program has an application deadline of February 15.
