702惊险二签记

今个使馆门前一片杀气.
F-1返签的凶多吉少.
据说台湾变态尽然对向她问好的学生说:
"等我把你据了你就不会说MORNING了"

本人心中正犹豫是否返签,
突然间小胖子坐镇3号临时窗口.
于是决定TRY MY LUCK.

以下为与小胖子对话:
HE: How are you?
Me: Fine, Thank you, and you?(努力挤出最灿烂的笑容)
He: Ok.
Me: I am glad to hear that.(Smile again)
He: Well, Economics.
Me: Yes.
He: What is the law of supply.
ME: when the price of goods increases, the quantity that firms are willing to produce increases too.
He: When the supply increase, ....?
Me: Excuse me, I can't hear you clearly. (开始有点紧张)
He: When the supply increase, how does the supply cost change?
Me: supply cost,(努力思考)...,
(供给增加,厂商应雇佣更多的工人,使用更多的原材料,导致要素市场价格上升,供给成本应上升.)
... increases too.(到现在也不明白错在哪里,还望与同行探讨)
He:遥了遥头 I don't think so .(以飞快的速度在我的护照上又盖了一个章)
ME:好似一个晴天霹雳.
He: Sorry, i don't think you qualified.
Me:(在这千钧一发之时,急中生智, 使出吃奶的劲大吼到)
   Excuse me, Sir! My major is econometrics(计量经济学).
   I am an expert in  Mathematics and Statistics.
He: Well, Mathematics.
    So what is the mean number?
Me:(这时才体会到小胖子的可爱)
   Yes. It is the center number in a number sequence.
He: You are qualified.(遂收回护照)

体会谈:
这就是美国的公平与合理. 我在一分钟内由一个NOT QUALIFIED 变成了QUALIFIED.
体会是,大家一定要把问题往自己的具体专业上靠.回想起来,他第一次问我ECONOMICS
时,我就该告诉他MY CONSENTRATION IS ECONOMETRICS.
