今天冒雨去签证，人巨多。虽由于是226号，没赶上临时窗口，进大使馆被折磨了一番，并眼看同组的六位仁兄一一被HGMM据了,包括一个F-1.可就是没紧张,大概是峸的太早,困的忘了紧张.听到我的名字,就一下子穿到前面,
H:what....intent...?（声音巨小）
W:pardon?(该出口时就出口）
H:what will you intent to do in US?
W:to pursue me Ph.D. in **. (too easy)
H:why did you select this major? (哈，又被猜中了）
W:*****..........
H:window six.
我愣在那半天，我的话还没说完呢！
定是被我侃晕了。

1. Your assistantship is for one year, can you convince me that you can get it next four years?
The departmantal chairman promised me that I would be financially supported through all my study process. I will take part in a big 5-year project funded by ***. For my outstanding performance and academic experiences in college and graduate school, my Ph.D. supervisor regards me as the most proper candidate to do the work. He thinks I will do well in the future and I believe that too. For those reason, I believe I will get financial aids for the following three or four years.

2. why do you like your major/why do you choose you major?
As a teenager, I was interested in the *** phenomena, such as ***, ***, ***. And the major is my first choice when I went to college. After 7-year studying, I become more and more interested in it. I just love my major and I have no reason to switch to others.

3 How can you convince me that you will come back? / What is your plan? / Give me three good reasons why you will come back to china after getting your Ph.D.? / What will you do after graduating?
I will work hard and try to get my Ph.D. in four or five years, then I will come back to china and find a decent job I a big city, like Hongkong, Shanghai or Beijing.
1. As a developing country, China is in good need of high-tech people, so in job market, I will have more opportunities and have a wide scope of choices.
2. Another important reason is that though I will communicated freely with American soon after landing US, Chinese mental and custom are so different from the American that I will fell lonely and rootless all the time in US. Life there will not as happy as in China.
3. I want to be with my parents and take care of them.
4. Coming back china and working in big city, besides better position and relationship, I can also get high salary. As far as I know, salary in HongKong is the highest in the world.

4.Why do you choose this U? / How do you know this U? / Why did you apply this U, please give me some academic reason..
I heard this U several years ago for there is fairly much intercommuniction between *** and PKU. I had chances to listen lectures given by its professors and contact its latest publications and researches. It has several world-wide famous professors, such as, Dr. **, Dr. **, and my supervisor, Dr. **. ** impresses me with its outstanding program in ***. In fact, as to the major, ** is the top 5 U is US. Moreover, it has excellent facilities and ample financial aids. I hoped I would study there one day. So one night, when I got a e-mail form departmantal chairmen and he informed that I was been admitted and offered a RA., I knew that my dream came true.
Another important reason is that I will take part in a big project funded by ***. It is a precious opportunity and chellege.
