I just give my personal advice here, you may take it as reference.
First, you should convince officer that you'll have more splendid future
in China than in US AFTER getting your PhD in US.
Second, if possible, contact school to support you, and you may also
prepare a letter to explain your idea if your spoken English is not
very good.
Third, be more confident.

∶ 教训:没有仔细准备,加上很多不利因素(单身,成绩不高),信心不是太足.特别是遭遇魔女
∶ 更是运气太遭.
∶ 各位大侠, 请提供建议和意见, 二签该如何准备? 是否要写审诉信? 多谢了!!
