今天上午去签证，不到2分钟就拿到了签证，而且眼见形势很好。我也是10点钟签的，怎
么没有见到金发魔女的恐怖啊！

At 8:00, I arrived at the embassy. My appointment number is 149. I waited at
the northeast corner of the embassy.
At about 9:10, the guard called:" Before 150." I told him my appointment
number and showed him my passport. Then I joined the waiting line outside the
entrance.
At about 9:30, I entered the embassy. At window 2, I gave my passport,
receipt of visa fee, and I-20 form, then I got a pink card.
At about 10:20, the lovely young lady of golden hair and blue eyes called my
name. I went directly to window 5.

Me: "Good Morning, Ma'am!"
She: "Good Morning!"
Me: " These are my documents." (I handed in the admission letter of the
school, the department, the records letter of TOEFL and GRE, the transcript
of Tsinghua. But she was only interested in I-20 and letters of the
university.)
She: "...Berkeley?!.."
Me: "Berkeley..."

(She began to write on some paper. I did not know what she wrote, but I felt
everything went well..)

Me: "Berkeley occupies a special place in graduate education."
She: "Ok."
(She put my passport and I-20 to another side, and was going to return all my
other documents. Suddenly, it seemed that she happened to remember something.)

She: " Have you graduated from Tsinghua?"
Me: "No."
She: " No?!"
Me: "But I will get my B.S. in early July this summer."
She: "Ok. Then go to window 10 please."
Me: " Thank you."

After ten minutes, I got my passport and visa at window 10.

在回来的路上，特意找了一辆双层Bus，我爬到上层去欣赏街道的景色，I don't know
why，but the ChangAn Street is so beautiful today, more beautiful than ever,
the Tian An Men is so majestic, and the portrait of Chairman Man is so kind.
I have never seen
Beijing so beautiful as today. "I am sailing, I am sailing..."

Just then, I came to remember one sentence, which I had sung for thousands of
times: 我们万众一心，冒着敌人的炮火，前进！前进！前进进！
