主将签证录（2）

  该我了。
  扬音器里传出一个五音不全的声音:“主~将”。(分特，真是听着别扭！)
Anyway, 我还是昂然走上前去。 Now our talk began:

主将：早上好（hehe,跟他来句汉语先)//微笑着稍一点头，然后以更有力的声
      音： Nice to meet u, sir. Here are my files.
美男：(从汉语到英语，他似乎一下子还没缓过劲来,hehe) oh~, thank you.

//微笑之接过偶递进去的材料(including transcripts, Admission letters
(gradsch. & dept), T&G scores--I20 form was already in his hand).
//美男快速翻了翻材料,one second later..

美男：oh~, go to Berkeley?!
主将：Yes! （我现在仍能感受到我当时那自豪的声音，of course that's from
the bottom of my heart)
美男：They gave you GSI plus tuition waiver, enn he~? //smiling
主将：Right. GSI means Gradute Student Instructorship.
美男：oh, i see. enn~~, oh~! you are from BEIJING University?!
主将：Yeah（嗨，这么大声，搞得偶都有点不好意思，再对他笑了笑）

//感觉他“北京”这两个字发音确实很标准，标准得连他自己都不住地抿嘴笑着
点头，看得出他对自己刚刚的发音很是赞许，呵呵，美得跟啥似的。
//接着他强自定了定神，收敛了些笑容，试图严肃地问道：

美男：So why do you want to go to Berkeley? enn~ why do you want to go
      to US for your graduate study instead of in Europe, why?

//问完之后他竟得意地耸了耸肩，好象这是一个高智商难题似的，puke!

主将：(心中暗笑:stupid question!) Oh~~?（作惊讶状）enn~, but can you tell
      me which university in Europe is better than Berkeley?!

//给了他半秒钟思考的时间，不过看上去他还陶醉在他那自以为是的问题中，对偶
的突然发问措手不及，尴尬地耸了耸肩，似乎还微微摇了摇头。我则对他友好地笑
了笑（以示理解），接着清楚地、不紧不慢地给了他一个我的回答:

主将：NONE. In fact Berkeley is one of the best universities in America,
      even in the world. And its Math department is also the best one in
      the world.  Berkeley is the Mecca for every mathematics student all
      around the world!"

//只见美男在玻璃的另一面不住地使劲点头，呵呵，搞得偶也甚是得意:)，不过美男似
乎也不愿就此甘休，跟偶又开起一个小玩笑勒~~

美男：Did you come to embassy before?

//（分特，竟问这问题？！）话音刚落，抬头看见偶眼睛大大直盯着他，美男突然
很不好意思起来，眨眨眼，看看偶，又看看偶的护照，目光都不知往哪搁，一股欲
语还羞之态 8-)) （西西~，偶心中暗暗发笑。）呵呵，那就也跟他开个小玩笑吧。

主将：Yes! (我到过使馆三次，5.8.和5.9.两天来使馆游行，上周五，来这踩过点）

//一听到偶说yes,美男似乎有些难过,"U CAME HERE BEFORE?" 正想再该说啥，我没给
他机会，继续说到：

主将：Yeah, I came here last Friday."

//美男终于relieve了一把，大松一口气，笑言：“呵呵，i see.”
//Seems 美男跟偶谈起兴致来勒，笑过之后，眨巴眨巴眼，又问起偶的专业：

美男：What are you going to study at Berkeley?
主将：I will study Applied Mathematics there.
美男：Yeahyeahyeah, I know that. But what's your specific field?
主将：（分特，还真认起真了，求知欲还挺强的）My interest lies in mathematical
       methods in telecommunication works and algorithms in pattern
       recognition.
美男：enn~(好象美男已颇显懵意，hehe), then what's your plan after your
      graduation?
主将：（呵呵，偶准备最充分的一个问题之一）Sure, I will come back to China
      to develop my future career here. In the first two or three years I
      will find a position in a big corparation...
美男：Big corparation? What kind of that?
主将：A big telecommunication corpartion like HuaWei or so. //seems he is
      无动于衷 when he heard . What he cared is MONEY!
美男：（迫不及待地打断了偶）How much money do you think you can earn?
主将：I am sure at least two or three hundred thousand RMB per year.

//不知是听错了还是咋的，美男下意识地觉得这是个不小的数目，顿时眼中绿光忽的
一闪，身子突地朝前猛倾。不过他可能也意识到自己有些失态，呵呵，立即恢复了正
常坐姿。我微笑着继续说到：

主将：Do you want to hear much more about my future plan?
美男：Oh, nono, that's enough. （不好意思地看着偶说到）

//不过偶想偶后面的陈词肯定更为精彩，不禁为美男失去这个听书机会暗自惋惜(呵呵,
just joking!)
//美男定了定神，小咳了一声，终于拿起了桌上的笔。打开笔盖，又拿过偶的OF156表，
可嘴里还又问了偶一问题,

美男：What kind of job will you do in the corp?
主将：Network designer.（偶毫不犹豫地答到，事实上事后偶觉得 Maybe this is
not a good answer for a student majoring in Applied Math, but lucky 美男 don't
care about that, 相反，他用高音并以升调重复了两遍偶的话："Network designer!
oh, NICE!"）

At Last, 美男落笔了，在偶的OF156表上划了（好象是）圈，又写了几个字。接着撕下
一张黄条，笑着递给我，说到：“Ok, Good Luck to you. Please go Window 10。”
呵呵，“Thank you, sir. Have a good day!” I said to him, smiling. “You
too.” he said so.

Now the talk ended. Isn't it a nice one? hehe, I do think so.
After about 10 minutes wating at Window ten, I got my visa.

So that's all!
