I got my visa last friday. And my application process is very
smooth. Since I got much information from bbs 飞, I post my interview
now.

Because my number is 35, I arrived in the embassy at 7:45. At 8:25 I
entered the embassy and got the red card. In my team all the members are F1s. The interview started at 9:00. Our team was on front of window 7. The visa officer is an white American man. The following is the
interview dialog,

M: Good morning, sir. Here are my documents.
O: Nice to meet you. (Smiling. He looks very friendly to me)  (At this
point I knew that I will get my visa.)  (The following are five
continuous Yes/No questions. )
O: Oh! You will study at *******?
M: Yeah!
O: You study computer science?
M: Yeah!
O: You pursue your Ph.D degree?
M: Yeah!
O: Now you are working at **************?
M: Yeah!
O: Oh, you get assistantship?
M: Yeah!
O: What do you do with your master work?
M: I do some research on *********************.
O: Military application or civil application?
M: Civil application.
O: What will you do after you come back to China?
M: I will set up my own company in Shanghai.
O: Why in Shanghai? (果然中计)
M: I think Shanghai is the most exciting city in China. The development
of Shanghai is very quick. There are much more opportunities. Another
important reason is that my little brother works in shanghai and after
my parents retire, they will also move to shanghai. I want to stay with
them and enjoy the happy family life. (这个老外也真够有耐心的,
居然让我说完，而且下面还有问题）
O: What kind of company will you open?
M: Computer company.
O: Can you tell me the products of your company?
M: Software.
O: what kind of software? can you explain it in detail?
M: Intelligent software. It make Chinese people use computer easily. For example, Chinese people are not accustomed to using keyboard.
Intelligent software let them use pen or voice to input the words.
O: Oh! That's great! Please wait for your visa at window 10.
M: Thanks!
Then I got my visa.

由于我进大使馆很早，所以那个领事问的问题很多，但话音清晰，听起来
绝对没问题，BBS上有些文章好象有点危言耸听。我想大家可以准备的充分一些，
但事实上的签证过程确实很容易，不用紧张。另外，金发魔女星期五好象不上班，已经连续三个星期五它不在岗位。
